Cyanogen is one of the variants of the Android operating system, which lately their focus to appear with an operating system that is independent of the integration of various Google services. Previously, Cyanogen has announced a partnership with Microsoft to integrate several applications, and now it is probably not to the extent seen in applications only, but also include integration of Cortana.
Cortana is a smart virtual assistant from Microsoft, which offered for the Windows platform. Recently, Microsoft also has offered applications for Android, but present with some limited functionality.
Integration of Cortana at Cyanogen OS is said to be deeper than with Cortana for Android app. This will allow a wide range of additional functions are also integrated as compared to only basic networking sites as in Android applications.
Cyanogen is expected to integrate Cortana at the next version of the operating system.
